Terms of Use

Agreement

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

The service

SiliconFeed provides news and editorial-style content about technology and related topics. Content is provided for general information and may be produced or assisted by automated systems with human oversight where we apply it. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time.

Acceptable use

Intellectual property

The Site’s design, branding, original text we own, and compilation of content are protected by intellectual property laws where applicable. You may link to our pages and use short quotations for commentary; otherwise, reproduction requires our prior written permission unless allowed by law (e.g. fair use). Third-party names and marks belong to their owners.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Content is not professional advice (legal, financial, medical, or otherwise). Always verify important facts with primary sources.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SiliconFeed and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Site shall not exceed the greater of (a) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100) or (b) amounts you paid us specifically for the service giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim (if any).

Third-party links and services

The Site may link to third-party websites, embeds, or services (including advertising or subscription tools). We do not control them; their terms and privacy practices apply. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data on the Site.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify SiliconFeed against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country apply. Courts in Delaware (or another venue we specify in an update) shall have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes, unless the law where you live requires otherwise—update this section with your lawyer for your actual entity and location.

Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where the law allows.
