Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 8, 2026. This policy describes SiliconFeed’s practices for the website siliconfeed.online. It is provided for transparency and for integrations such as Google Publisher Center / advertising or subscription products. It is not legal advice; have counsel review it if you rely on it for compliance.
Who we are
SiliconFeed is an online publication (“we”, “us”). Contact: hello@siliconfeed.online.
What we collect
- Usage and technical data. When you visit the site, our hosting and infrastructure providers may process IP address, browser type, device type, approximate location, referrer, and similar technical data in server logs for security, reliability, and abuse prevention.
- Analytics. We may use Google Analytics (or similar services) to understand aggregate traffic (e.g. pages viewed, session duration). These tools may set cookies or use similar technologies as described in their own policies.
- Content you send us. If you email us or contact us through a third-party service, we receive whatever information you choose to provide (e.g. email address, message content).
- Newsletter / email list. If we offer a mailing list, we process the address you submit and related subscription metadata to send messages; you can unsubscribe using the link in those emails where applicable.
Cookies and similar technologies
We and our partners may use cookies, local storage, or pixels where needed for the site to function, for analytics, or—if enabled—for advertising, measurement, or subscription features. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may limit site functionality.
How we use information
We use the information above to operate and improve the site, measure audience and performance, secure our services, comply with law, and—if applicable—deliver ads or subscriber experiences through authorized partners.
Third parties
We rely on vendors for hosting (e.g. Vercel), analytics (e.g. Google), databases or APIs where the product requires them, and possibly ad or subscription platforms (e.g. Google). Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information in the conventional sense of selling lists of individuals; where “sale” or “sharing” is defined broadly by law (e.g. for cross-context behavioral advertising), we will align disclosures and choices with applicable requirements.
Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law. Log and analytics retention depend on provider defaults and our configuration.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing, or to object to processing. To exercise rights or ask questions, contact us at hello@siliconfeed.online. We may need to verify your request.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children as defined by applicable law.
International visitors
If you access the site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our providers operate.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top will change when we do; continued use of the site after updates means you accept the revised policy where the law allows.
